In support of Aditazz’s place in the final 3 companies (out of over 400) for Kaiser Permanente’s Small Hospital, Big Idea competition, we went up to San Francisco’s New Laguna Honda center to begin shooting a short video explaining the benefit of the Aditazz Realization Platform and its ability to build the right building, better and faster.

We were happy to be in attendance at Santa Cruz’s Museum of Art & History for the 2012 Nexties Awards honoring 4 of our community’s most influential and progressive individuals. We produced a series of videos, one for each winner, which looked great in the awesome space put together by Nielsen Architects and everyone else involved from Santa Cruz Next - complete with aerial dancers, live projections and an array of great food from some of Santa Cruz’s finest restaurants.

Inside each bottle is a wonderful Pinot Noir from our neighbors at Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyards. Nothing like a little alcohol to make happy clients!

Over the past half a year, we’ve seen Cosmic grow to a level that we thought would takes us years to achieve. Three months ago we posted a job opening on several websites hoping to land a new partner in crime; we were looking for someone who could not only design but someone we could call a part of the Cosmic family. Meet Andrew McBride, he’s a Nortre Dame graduate with a double degree in Graphic Design and Philosophy. We’ve been having a lot of fun since he joined the team; whether it’s working, talking about music or riding bikes down to the beach. You can check out some of his work here. Cosmic Design Group is looking to establish a long-term partnership with an exceptional graphic designer.

What You Need To Know

We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of current web technologies and the ability to translate design into XHTML and CSS. You must be up to speed on current design programs and understand design for mobile devices, both phone and tablets. You’ve got to be an Apple user. Seriously.

We expect you to be comfortable meeting directly with clients and to communicate the details of deliverables discussed in those meetings.

Where You Need To Be

Our studio is located on the Westside of Santa Cruz, California. We anticipate that you would be working twenty or more hours per week at the studio.

Who We Are

Cosmic Design Group is a team of fun, enthusiastic branding, design and typography geeks who grew up using the technology we work with every day. You’ve got to have the love of design that we do to be a good fit for us. An appreciation of music and good food is a plus.
